It was a wild ride and we look forward to another year of memories and milestones! NYC AFTERHOURS 2 – IT’S FINALLY HERE!!!

After almost 3 years and a delay of 2 days, the CD that myself and many others have been anticipating is finally here! I teamed up with DJ Ambition on this one and my oh my, IT’S INSANE! I’m very proud of this cd for two reasons.

1 – Tracklisting, in my opinion, is ON POINT!

2 – We recorded TWO sets LIVE! Yes, LIVE! Minimal editing was done and you can actually hear a few minor errors which is fine by us. We’re all about purity as DJs and we kept it as real as possible.

We hope you enjoy the CD. It’s got two exclusive sets broken down into 45minute sections. 1st track is to help you warm up your night while you’re getting ready or hitting the gym up. 2nd track is to rock out in your car on the way to the club, getting you into the mood to dance your ass off all night long!

So without further-adieu, I present to you my latest creation alongside my man, DJ Ambition…

Wow, amazing rendition of that annoying song…

This Kolaveri song that’s gone viral all over the internet has gotten me beyond annoyed. It’s a stupid stupid stupid song with no meaning or purpose. It’s broken english with some random jibberish thrown in.

Young cat out of London named Arjun put together a rendition of this song. I love it because he took something stupid and corny, and added some smooth R&B vibes to it. Talented and creative.

Wow…it was exactly 1 year ago that I was interviewed by the beautiful Reshma Shetty for USA Network/NBC at NYC’s Gotham Hall. Since then, I’ve traveled the world, met some beautiful people, started new friendships and achieved the most success in my career yet. I need to thank each and every one of you who took part in one of the most amazing year of my life. 2012 is looking like a round 2 for myself and the rest of my Premier Entertainment family. Big shout out to all the couples that hired me to rock out with them at their receptions. And to all the couples getting hitched in 2012, I can’t wait to flip your reception upside and turn that bad boy into the craziest nightclub.

A big big thanks to all the families of our crew who put up with us walking in at 5-6am (forgive us for missing family events!) And last but without a doubt not the least. Shout out to my entire crew for holding me down and putting 1000% into each and every event. Premier is a team effort and I’m proud to say I have the most talented, hardworking and humble team this industry will ever see.

Fight Cancer and Celebrate Navratri together!

For the first time ever in New York City, a garba event is being hosted on October 15th 2011!

I’ve struck a promotion deal with Garba in the City and for every ticket sold, a portion of the ticket will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (http://www.nationalbreastcancer.org/) to help raise awareness for breast cancer in honor for of course, BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH (YES, October is breast cancer awareness month if you haven’t noticed!)

A donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation helps provide free mammograms for women in need to promote early breast cancer detection. The donations received from individuals, corporate sponsorships, and breast cancer fundraising activities help fund educational programs that provide answers to breast cancer patients, survivors, and any family member whose life is touched by breast disease.

I’m all for upcoming South Asian talent. Sam Hasan who was featured on the recent parody of “Give Me Everything Tonight” by Pitbull entitled “Give Me Kati Rol Tonight“, recently recorded a cover of David Guetta & Usher’s new hit single, “Without You.”

To be honest, I like this better than the original song. Adds a sensual, warm sound to the lyrics…
